Pregnant Mother and child health care is a priority activity of AKOTA JUBO UNNAYAN SANGSTHA (AJUS). There are various health facilities departments and units in division and district level. Some peoples are getting treatment from those health centers, clinic and hospital. Maximum peoples are not getting treatment from those health centers due to their financial problems and so far from godagari. They are not able to bear travel cost, various diagnosis cost and medicine cost and doctor’s fee. They have also lack of knowledge on health, nutrition, family planning and child care.
AJUS provided their service for the Pregnant Mother and Child awareness raising training, free diagnosis, treatment and medicine. Sometimes AJUS provided those services to the beneficiaries by organization’s own fund and Community Contribution. The patient outreach to 100 pregnant mother and 80 children over the year 2007 to 2022 under this program.
AJUS also provided general medical service for the general patients, free diagnosis, treatment and medicine. AJUS provided those services to the community through health campaign by the health worker and medical officers. The patient outreach to 300 female, 500 male and 600 children over the year 2007 to 2022 under this program.
