AKOTA JUBO UNNAYAN SANGSTHA (AJUS), a non-profit organization working for the welfare of the poor and helpless, has once again come forward to help those in need. AJUS has planted over 1000 trees in the community. AJUS has also promoted homestead gardening in the community. Homestead gardening is a type of gardening that is done in small plots of land, such as backyards and front yards. Homestead gardening is a great way to grow your own food and reduce your dependence on the market. AJUS has trained the beneficiaries in the community on how to plant and care for trees and how to grow vegetables and fruits in their homestead gardens. AJUS has also provided the beneficiaries with seeds and plants free of cost. AJUS is grateful to all the donors who have made this project possible. The project is a great example of how AJUS is working to improve the lives of the poor and helpless in the community.
